iPhone Mount + Power

i loved the RAM Mount i had for the G650 GS, and on that one i had a U-bolt mount on the handle bars. that joint was sold with the bike. this time around i did it a little better. click on for more photos…

i got a handle handle bar bolt ball with M8 size screw. sounds weird but see the photos and it will make sense. it just replaces one of the bolts on your handle bars, for a cleaner mount.  i also got the shorter stem this time around.

Edit: A year later, I need to replace the rubber grips on the mount. 

since the F700 has a powerlet outlet right near the handlebars, i wanted to figure out an efficient and clean way to power the iPhone. the cleanest way was also the most expensive. i think worth it in the end. i went with the powerlet to lighting power adapter, the short version.

Edit: ended up returning the powerlet Lightning charger as it failed twice and got this USB adapter instead.

all from revzilla. I’ve been waiting for a revzilla order so i could pick up the 60” set of rok straps (which are not only longer, but thicker then the 40” ones i already have, and wider too).
