Schuberth C4 PRO Announced

Schuberth announced their C4 PRO today. Notable differences are the new seamless liner, new chinstrap padding, and even more SENA integration than before.

It seems this time around, the C4 PRO will come with a boom mic and speakers pre installed for an even more plug and play experience with SENA. The question is, will we be able to use any SENA we want with combo. I personally prefer the latest versions when possible, ie the 30K which allows for mesh intercom. In the past, the Schuberth / SENA integrations were with specific hidden components. It would hopefully be obvious to them to allow the speakers and boom to connect to any SENA. We have reached out to them for comment and will update.

The next question is, how far are we from an E2 adventure helmet.

The new benchmark is off to a flying start:
SCHUBERTH C4 PRO on sale now

Innovative, distinctive, groundbreaking – SCHUBERTH continues the story of the flip-up helmet with the compact C4 PRO. Its newly developed interior lining, which combines maximum wearing comfort with low noise level, is set to impress. The quietest and most comfortable flip-up helmet that SCHUBERTH has ever built launches now.

Conquer the world: The new SCHUBERTH C4 PRO has everything an ambitious motorcyclist needs on big tours and fast-paced rides. The latest helmet from Magdeburg celebrated its world premiere at the EICMA 2018 in Milan, and now the C4 PRO is on the market.

Perfect fit, top technologies, premium quality – extravagant, independent and so compact that it hardly looks like a flip-up helmet. Both the new SCHUBERTH C4 PRO’s stunning design and its modern patterns were created in KISKA’s studios.

The new concept for its fit and acoustics is a particular highlight. The interior lining’s new geometry with seamless padding, optimised grooves for glasses and new chinstrap padding ensure maximum wearing comfort. Thanks to its optimised neck padding and modified attachments, the C4 PRO achieves significantly reduced wind noise of approximately 85 dB(A) at 100 km/h on a naked bike. Full visibility in every situation is guaranteed by the standard Pinlock® 120 anti-fog lens, which is also used in MotoGP and Formula 1 racing.

The SCHUBERTH C4 PRO also continues to set the standard in terms of preparation for Bluetooth and radio reception. It comes with not only an integrated antenna as standard, but also two preinstalled speakers, a boomless microphone and the recesses for the SC2 and SC1 optional communication systems developed together with SENA. Quite literally, "plug and play".

The new SCHUBERTH C4 PRO not only looks outrageously good, it has also been optimised in the SCHUBERTH Air and Acoustics Lab. That's why this new model is not just equipped with everything that has made SCHUBERTH flip-up helmets so popular among touring riders until now. Its perfect aerodynamics predestine the new helmet for high speeds and thus even for demanding sports drivers.

The new SCHUBERTH C4 PRO will be on sale in five plain colours for €599 and nine exciting patterns for €699 as well as in seven sizes from XS (53) to XXXL (65) – with a five-year warranty without ifs and buts.
